Quilt With Us

I spent the summer cutting up scraps of fabrics that I saved over the years. Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville was my inspiration for making a double irish chain quilt.  I finished the top this am, hope to start hand quilting it this winter.

GREAT quilt!  I've done an Irish Chain, but not double or triple... have more than enough scraps that I could use for one like this - not that I needed any more ideas, thank you very much lol.

Thanks for all the wonderful comments, I can't wait to get to quilting it, but have another project to finish first.

I'm using tone on tone cream and off white scraps for the background.

This is the pattern I'm using for my "truck project" using 1" squares of scrap batiks.  Love this pattern, second one for me.  Great way to use scrap squares of all kinds and showcase hand quilting in the solid squares.  Looks great!
