ok at least the next weekor so. pardon the typing but right hand is in a 1/2 cast. tendonitis. ended up in extreme pain last night. I would have gone to the ER but hours of sitting and waiting is not something I do well, so I waited til this morning to visit an urgent care clinic and was told they wouldnt see me! Off I go to the local health works clinic. checked in, x-ray and exam tendonitis right wrist. no work for a week and cast to keep hand from moving til swelling goes down.  Now that I have time for sewing, I'm not sure how I can. give me a few days and I'll figure it out!

I agree with Pam. Even if you have to use the point of a seam ripper or the side of your cast to hold things still I'll bet there is some way to sew. You may have to enlist the help of a friend (cutting and ironing slave). But, like Linda suggested, pick out your next pattern. Heal well.

I am so sorry to hear about your hand. May the cast help. Maybe it is just time to look through quilt books?

Good luck trying to find a way to sew...maybe some piecework on the machine?  I am so right handed that I would be lost in a cast!
