End of the year view out my sewing room window

As we say good-bye to 2009 I thought I'd share the view out my sewing room window today. It started snowing about 10am and didn't stop until 4pm. I hope you all enjoy this last night of 2009. I look forward to blogging with you in 2010!
Blessings and Hugs to all.

We had big fluffy flakes today but it hasn't amounted to too much. We had a great time with our friends last night, there were 12 of us. We played Chicken Foot then my DH arranged a story telling game that had everyone in hoots. Every blessing for 2010, may you try new ventures in the quilting world.

Nice view out the window! As I sit here and type, it is snowing here too! Got about 6 inches yesterday, more today and tomorrow! I plan to sit right here in the house and and watch it come down! Happy 2010 everyone!!

Beautiful view BJ. We are expecting a a big snow storm this weekend. One storm coming in from the West and another coming down from Canada. Fresh snow is beautiful. It's the bitter cold that I don't like.

What a peaceful setting. I always take the month of January for looking at garden books, etc. as after about the middle of that month I am yearning so for spring! Hoping we might get a break on more snow and be surprised with a mild January. One can always hope!

How beautiful. I love snow when it's fresh and white. The first time I remember seeing snow was in Seattle many, many years ago. DH and I were married there...he couldn't get leave to fly to GA. Our DD was born there. Another Navy wife and I had a snowball fight. She was 8months along and I was 7! How fortunate you are to have such a wonderful view. I'm thinking about moving my sewing room into the great room. It faces the mountains. My room now overlooks the street!

It looks peaceful, a good view to have when you are sewing. We still have snow on the ground here in OK from our Christmas Eve blizzard, but it's slowly melting. Hope the New Year is a happy one for you and your family.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful view, BJ--it looks so quiet and peaceful. I never got my fill of watching snow come down or looking out my window at the view. We have watched a family movie and will be settling in before too much later--have a wonderful last evening of 2009 and a happy New Year.
