Hi all, So sorry I've missed a few days. Things are really getting crazy around here with work and training a girl to do my job while I'm gone, working on mom's house, planning our stops for vacation (boy the daily word sure is timely for me!) and general stuff that needs to be done.
I hope everyone has a great day that is filled with God's love and guidance.
Daily Word — Saturday, February 28, 2009---
The spirit of God goes before us, making our way safe and successful.
Before I start to travel--whether for a short or long distance--I affirm: The spirit of God goes before me, making safe and successful my way. With this kind of reawakening to Spirit, I am alert to divine guidance in situations that call for my focused concentration and immediate response.
Driving others or leaving the driving to someone else, I include prayer in my preparation for a journey. I remember all who are traveling with me and around me during a variety of weather and road conditions. I affirm: The spirit of God goes before us, making safe and successful our way.
There is no place or condition that is beyond the presence of God. I hold a vision of safe travel on roads and sidewalks, in the air and on water, for myself and all others.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."--Psalm 46:1
