I love flying geese! I used them for the border on this quilt:

After I got the border pieced, I discovered one strip was longer than the other. I had to take in some of the seams to get it to fit. I looked for the narrowest seams and took them in just a bit.

Thanks for the ideas and lessons Karen. I think doing the 'Geese' will be much easier with the ruler and hope to do a border or such. I really like the ideas you showed us. It is amazing the change with just a bit of colour change. Looking forward to the June lessons.
