Quilt With Us

I'm always intrigued by new techniques, especially those that seem fast & easy.  Sometimes I wonder, "Why didn't I think of that?"  Not that I don't enjoy slow stitching or intricate projects as well, but sometimes I just need a quick & easy project.   I don't buy precuts, but thought this was a good technique regardless.  It might be old hat to all of you, but it was new to me.  I hope you find it helpful or interesting as well.

It is a clever method but I too kept thinking of all the layers. Seems a waste of fabric, but I do get the idea of quick and easy. I liked the last one the best, with the pinwheels, for babies to reach for. That was cute. Thanks for sharing!

I've never seen this technique before, but it's certainly interesting and may have to try it. Thanks for sharing.

You're right, Cat Lady, it is not one to hand quilt.  Also, I have a hard time thinking of the extra fabric that goes into the 2 (or more) layers, but I thought it was an interesting technique.

Thanks for sharing the video info. I have read about her technique in a quilt magazine I get, but watching her actually do it makes a lot more sense to me.  With all of that extra fabric it will make for a heavier quilt.  Definitely not one I would want to hand quilt.
