Wonderful news to hear about Debbie being sprung from the hospital, at least we hope she was released and not an escapee. My mother actually did that a few years ago and when I found out about it, I returned her.

Debbie gets out and my DD was admitted this morning.  She saw her OB doctor yesterday because of pains and checked out ok. This morning her leg was swollen and changing colors.  (She of course text messaged this news to me while I'm at work)   She also wanted to know if I could come over and keep her company sense hubby had to work, after she saw her doctor again. I told her no simply because I've had the flu/cold thing thats going around.  That changed quick enough when they got to the hospital.  It took the ER about five minutes to tell her she had a blood clot in her left leg.  Not just a blood clot but a HUGE clot from hip to knee.  They have her on blood thinners and after spending most of the day in the ER she should land somewhere in the hospital they just aren't sure where to put her.  She's 6 mos. pregnant but the maternity floor doesn't deal with the blood thinners. They thought rehab but they couldn't handle her either.  She will be on the surgery floor where they do deal with patients on blood thinners.

Needless to say after work I went home changed, dashed back out of the house and stopped at a store for flowers and headed to the hospital. Rest asured I did not get close to her and sat at a distance to visit with her. She will probably be in the hospital a week and home for rest.  They can't explain why this happened or what caused it.

They are monitoring baby Aiden as well and he is doing fine in the "oven". Throughout all her ordeals the baby has been just fine.  DD swears there won't be any more babies in their house unless they adopt. I'm beginning to think she might be right for once.

Kathy  Sorry to hear of your daughters rough pregnancy. My sister was on blood thinners the full nine months she was pregnant with her son. She had a blood clot just before she found out she was pregnant.  Her son is now 10 and is a bright, happy kid.  The docs can do wonderful things now.

Kathy, I will be praying for your DD and your DGS.  I hope you're getting better too.  Take care of yourself, I know the stress makes it hard.

Oh my - what a huge clot! So glad she is in the hospital being cared for and that the baby continues to do well. Such a blessing. You get well and praying for your daughter too.

Kathy, I'm sorry to hear that your DD is going through this ordeal.  I know it's hard on you not being able to do anything to help, not to mention not being able to give her a big hug due to your own illness.  I'll be praying for her and your family during this difficult time.

Kathy,  How frightful was that?  OMGosh I bet you both were worried sick. I always get a little scared when I hear about blood clots.  Our hospitals and our new drugs can do wonderful things these day.  They'll take good care of your daughter and grandson.  God works in mysterious ways...maybe this is his way of saying that she's in need of looking after in more ways than one.   Take care   miss you too....Thanks for the lovely comment.
