My creative spurt seems to be growing. While trying to think of where I want to go with the needle felted/thread painting project, I have created a few paintings and have been working on a thread painting. The two paintings are in acrylics and are of a sea turtle and a winter scene called garden gate. The thread painting I've entitled Spirit Wolf and has really been a challenge to work on, albeit a very enjoyable challenge.
May your creative juices flow and many enjoyable hours pass as you make your journey whether it be via a painting path or a quilting path or creating fiber art.

Wow! what a talented lady you are.
Thanks everyone for your very nice comments. Linda, I do use this type of technique on some of my fiber art, especially if it contains a complex design. I will paint in some areas and then do thread painting to either accent or on top of what has been painted. This can give a shadowing effect that works out nicely.
I have found that being creative is a great stress reliever, unless of course, you're stressing on what you want to do for say a competition.
I like the winter picture! Nice job! Busy hands and creative minds equal happy soul in my opinion!
Love the winter picture and turtle. It would be fun to make them up using fabric. I had just watched Quilting Arts, after the plain white block was quilted with the design they were painting the picture. The show has also shown the painted picture with thread quilting have you tried any of this type of art?
It feels good to express our creativity, doesn't it? Very soothing to the soul.
One creative idea after another. You are on a roll.
Very nice.
Very inspiring...love the turtle!
