Quilt With Us

I ordered three acid-free storage boxes from this company SAR sarichards1@earthlink.net

They are the nicest boxes...heavy acid-free boxes plus 30 sheets of acid-free tissue paper. I was able to put a double size quilt and a large afghan in each box.

They are not cheap $35/ea. but so worth it. I am making wedding boxes for the two gdsons(3 and 5) so want to store these in a safe place. I will refolded them a couple of times a year.

I like to hear from others about products they have used...

If you remember to fold on the bias, not on straight of grain, you're less likely to get the dreaded and sometimes permanent fold lines. I can't remember where I learned that. My quilts are not neatly folded for that very reason.

I don't have any new to share on acid free boxes or storage but I love your idea of the wedding boxes.  I'm going to save the email address for future use.....if only I will be able to remember where it's save.
