There are so many projects in Fresh Fabric Treats that would be such fun to make for gifts, that I had a bit of a hard time choosing just one. For my "Gifty" project, I chose the Pack 'n Go Tote, made from 2-1/2" strips and I chose Jubilee Garden for the fabrics.
Making this bag was fun, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I did add an inside pocket, because despite all the outside pockets, I thought one inside would be nice. I divided it up into sections to accommodate a pen, my cell phone, and perhaps a little note pad.
The little pouch that I made to go with the bag was a free download from the Moda Bake Shop called "Strippy Charm Pouch", and I had plenty of strips left over from the bag to make it. It's the perfect size for a little makeup or even a camera.
Since this "Gifty" is for me, the plan is to take it along when we go on a cruise in January to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. I'll do my best to pack it full of stuff!

What a great gift for yourself! I'm sure you will get lots of compliments when you go on your cruise.
