Quilt With Us

Well I've just been talking to my other half. He is now driving a semi truck and stuck in Fort Stockton TX. They are according to him having one heck of a rain storm/ lightning and thunder to boot. Makes me glad I didn't go with him. So I got my first order of material from CT which includes some batiks. I love the colors but haven't got a clue what to do with them in a pattern. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I've also posted a few pictures on my site. I have all the pieced blocks finsihed for my nieces daughters' quilt. I've been working on a design for the alternating blocks. For lack of better words its a kind of patchwork cutout. I'm not sure that I like the design and would like some input on that one. Also posted a picture of the two yorkie puppies I have. The little monsters like to sleep in my sewing room on the floor, usually between where my computer is and my sewing machine, which means moving them when I have to move my chair. Wouldn't you just love to buy one of these guys????

Kathy, love your block and the colours you are working with. The alternating block will it be just embroidered? Your two yorkie pups are priceless. There is no way that you would part with them, I am sure.
