Quilt With Us

Good Morning Ladies...It's been a while...

Well, it's clear to me that I've miss out of a lot of stuff over the last year.  I'm happy to see so many familiar faces still posting as well as a bunch of new ones.

Just for a quick up date.  I'm through with all my treatments, had my port-a- cath removed 2 weeks ago and have just got to work on healing now...mostly mentally I think, but I will have some long lasting effects to work though. Still have doctors appointments every two months until Oct 2014 but can handle that easily. Just working on getting my ole self back.  You know?  that MoJo thing?

I now have something special in my life....Meet Lucas (Luke).  Born Nov 30th.  6 lbs 11oz and 2 weeks early but healthy & beautiful.  My first grandchild....what a joy.  Now I understand why all you grandma's always sounded so gushy.  Can I become a member of the Gushy Grandma Club.??

Congrats Debbie!  I know just how you feel.  As Jeff just gave me another grandson.... who we never thought would be.  So he is very special.  I am so glad too, to hear your doing so good.  That is wonderful news!  Just do not over do, and still try to stay away from a lot of people, as your able to pick up things faster than others.  What a wonderful Christmas your going to have!!!!!  I am so thrilled for you.   That grandson of yours is just beautiful, and so sweet.  Hugs Morgan oxoxoxoxo

OHHHHH, he's sure a cutie!!! Welcome to the Gushy Grandma Club and nothing is better than seeing those little eyes follow you and have those tiny arms wrap around you. So glad to hear that your treatments are over and that you are doing so well. You are going to be needed to babysit Luke, so your DS and DIL can have some rest time. Congratulations...Also, bet your mom and dad are over the moon in having a great grandson.

Ah, gee, he's worth gushing over!

I'm so glad to hear from you. I have thought of you so often and hoped and prayed you were recovering and would be back soon. Maybe not as soon as I would prefer, but, welcome back.

Great to hear from you! Welcome to the Grandma Club! It is good to hear you are progressing. You have been through a lot. That new Grandson will do much to help you find that mojo.  My Grandkids are my best medicine when life gets me down.  Take care .

Gush away -- he is so adorable; how could you do anything but gush!  God sent the perfect gift to distract you from all you've been through.  Can't wait to see more pictures as he grows.  Hugs!
