Quilt With Us

Monday the old REALITY bubble got burst....a few tears were shed and then I sat down and began to create a "to do" list.

Tuesday morning - a new day.  Before I even rolled out of bed I told myself it's going to be a better day!  Start with some positive attitude, throw in a bit a humor and see where it takes me.

I had ONE item on my "to do" list and I accomplished it!!  Woo Hoo....I'm on a roll!  LOL

Before lunch, one of the nurses knocked on my door - they needed to obtain my monthly BP, temp and weight. Since I can't stand - she brought in the sling and hoyer lift.  YIPPY - lost another 7 pounds.  Happy to see that the scale is still heading in the right direction.

I'm doing the happy dance (drum roll please).....I am proud to say that I have lost ONE HUNDRED pounds.  I'm well on my way....

This healthy journey is getting interesting....exercising is keeping HOPE alive in my heart!

hello! I don't know you are your story but I love your honesty!  I'm so proud of you working so hard to lose weight which is obviously so very hard to do for anyone...I know that for a fact.  My insulin resistance and reactive hypoglcemia makes it darn near impossible for me! >:/ Still, this is about you and I'm very very proud of you!  As women we do cry, I believe it is one of God's gifts to us that we somehow think is a curse...what a lie!  It allows us to be completely human, gives us great depth of compassion, sympathy and the gift of helping others.  You go ahead and cry when you need to, then, come see us here! :)  God knows your pain, your frustrations and your frailties, He loves you anyway! And there isn't anything you can do to stop it! LOL!!

Keep happy dancing and we'll be there to dance with you!

Congratulations are certainly in order!  Only us gals understand the real importance of some occasional tears...it opens the door, sometimes, to seeing things another way, and helps us keep a chin up attitude.  You're on the right path!

Very impressive- 100 pound lost is just outstanding.  You should be so proud of this accomplishment.  Keep up the good work.  We're all cheering you on.

Wow, that is great.  Keep up the good work.  I think we all have days when it seems like nothing goes right and/or our mood is just down.  Some times tears are just the right thing to let loose.
