Wow,our little Colbie is a year old this Sunday!!! This has been the fastest year on record I swear. I decided to make her a doll for her birthday. The techno toys are great and she already knows that the toys have a button somewhere that she has to push and the minute you give her something she starts poking away trying to make it work. Her dolly might be a disappointment after all the noise making talking toys, but theres a lot to be said for imagination too. I worry that she'll grow up not knowing how to play with a normal toy LOL. Anyway, I took her very first outfit to dress

her doll. I think she's kinda cute, though she has leg issues, don't know where I went wrong. I'll have to hone up on my pattern making skills. Of course in keeping with the times she has pink and purple hair! Wouldn't want Colbie to think that Nana 's not cool.

Lynda, she is priceless. I am sure she will love her even if she is only one. What a wonderful present!

What a cute doll. I'm sure she will be greatly loved. After all, you can't cuddle with those plastic toys too well. I love the face on the doll - she is wonderful.

Colbie will absolutely love her with her purple and pink hair. Rag dolls are so great for the kids and she'll treasure her, because you made it for her. There's nothing breakaable on her, so she's pretty indestructable and will last a lifetime. Great job.

Oh what a cute cute doll. Non-techie toys are the very best. My daughter who is a preschool teacher and has a master's in child development goes out of her way to find toys that don't buzz, ring, light up, play music or blink. Gotta cultivate that imagination!!!! She will love it.

you can't cuddle with 'techno toys'... every child needs a doll or stuffed animal to share naptime and bedtime with. Love the purple and pink hair... SO CUTE!!
