Quilt With Us

I have not been able to attempt this skill due to arthritis in some of my fingers. However, I recently received a book and DVD from The Thimble Lady in Australia. She has a very unique way to hand quilt and I think the only reason I will not be able to master this will be my own lack of practice. She also makes made to order thimbles for those who might be interested.

I look forward to a pleasant learning/sharing experience with all the members of this group.

I will. I am trying to complete a class at Quilt U as another one I want to take started today. I think tho that I will set some time aside tomorrow to see if I can master this new technique. I am not sure you could do this hand quilting on a large frame - time will tell.

Keep us posted on you experience. Join us, if you have not already on the group called "Around the Quilt Frame, Hand Quilters."
I for one have never been able to use my thumb the way many quilters do. We find what works for us and learn and practice from there.
