Quilt With Us

Hi there,

Ok, so last weekend I went to Minneapolis to the Ikea store and got a new sewing table and a new cutting table. YAY!!! I love them both and they cost me around $200. YIKES!!

They are my Christmas, anniversary and birthday presents from my husband to myself because those events are all in this month and next month but now I just checked out the clearance section on the CT website and am wondering if $100 worth of fabric is asking to much to add to my gifting to myself from my dear husband. :) I could include Valentines day too. What do you think?

Anyways, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.

Merry Christmas.

How about just celebrating everyday he is with you...just an "glad you said yes" gift...LOL I bet you are worth it!

Hi Nancy, I have to agree with everyone else, treat yourself well, you deserve it.  (If, of course, your budget at this time will allow it)  I know we have 8 grandkids and 7 kids we buy for.  Next year I am starting in Jan. to do next years Christmas shopping!

I agree. Get the fabric--we all know that it's not like a toaster. When it's gone, it's not coming back.

Go for it!  Don't stop when you're on a roll!  Besides, I've come to the conclusion that I have to out live my fabric stash, so more is better!  Just say, "Doctor's orders."

Ditto to Irene:  GO FOR IT...   Most of us get more than one gift for Christmas, most likely more than one for our Birthday so i say you may be behind in the count and should add a few more.  Be sure to share photos after you get your new items built and in place....

Well, in all 'fairness' to YOU....that's only TWO gifts for THREE celebrations; so  you absolutely need to add the fabric as the third gift!!! That would only be about $100 per gift which isn't REASONABLE for such IMPORTANT occasions!!! Yes, we are a group of enablers.

I say "GO FOR IT" after all it's Christmas and your worth it.  So far I'm having a busy Pre-Christmas.  I wish I had started last January making my gifts.  But I think I get more done under pressure, even if it does get a bit nerve wracking. lol  Merry Christmas to you as well.
