Quilt With Us

Oh and Merry Christmas.  I would have posted that one sooner but I had to work that day.  Not complaining here, I was paid very well to be there and the family fun doesn't begin until I get off work any way.

So hoping that 2016 is better for us all.

A wonderful 2016 to you!  I like your great attitude about working on Christmas Day.

Same to you! I started 2016 off right, I've been in my sewing room all day working on a very old UFO. It's not what I actually bought but I remember being shorted fabric so with the strips already cut I just used a free pattern I found online and so far I love it! Maybe not as much as the original but it is what it is. I'm just ecstatic I got a whole day to sew!

That is so true, don't think there would be holidays if women quit doing it!!! Hope yours was nice...

Happy New Year to you also.  I'm hoping to get a lot of sewing done now that the Holidays are behind us.  I have been working on curtains today.  One pair nearly done.  Two more windows to make curtains for and I'll be done.  I have a wall hanging I want to make but it has a million pieces and I'm sure that is going to take me the rest of the winter if I tackle that project.  But it will be cute for my sewing room.  It's call HAVE A HAPPY SCRAPPY DAY by Amy Bradley.
