Happy New Year 2014. May I get all my quilts quilted. Half my fabric made into quilts and very clean looking new sewing room so I can show you pictures. It is still a mess. why do I love fabric so much?

Loving fabric is our "normal" state of being. It's better to accept it and not fight against the norm. That's my philosophy and I highly recommend that it be yours for the sake of preserving your remaining sanity. Oh, just let me say Happy New Year and I'll return to my messing sewing room.
Happy New Year to you also Linda. I hope you accomplish all the things you have on your list. My intentions are always good but it seems when I'm really in the sewing or cleaning mode, I get interrupted and then I'm back to square one. Like yesterday I was sewing up a storm. A client came in and stayed for two hours. By that time I had to go make a batch of rolls to take to my son's for supper. This morning I got up gung-ho to get back at the sewing but DH took me out to breakfast. Not sure if I will get the gumption to continue that project I started yesterday or not but if I don't, I will chalk it up to needing a rest or some other lame excuse. lol
Sounds like you have great plans ... for making space for more fabric? Happy New Year!
May you also not worry about it. A sign in my house says, "Martha Steward does not live HERE." My sewing room ALWAYS looks like a bomb went off. I think it's in the rules or something. I'm going to have to clean it though...the computer guy is coming on Thursday and our router is hiding somewhere under something. Glad to find a comrade in the mess dept.
