Quilt With Us

Our second dusting of snow arrived last night. It's melting fast but from the looks of the weekend weather forecast we have some nasty weather to look forward too.  But what can I say, it Winter in Maine and it's just the beginning of what's to come.

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.  The day after, I will be dragging out my Christmas trimmings and decorating the apartment.  After the holidays I like the slow pace of Winter. Staying in where it's, warm working on sewing projects.  Or curling up with a good book.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!  We are supposed to get a snowy mix mess tonight and tomorrow, so I guess its headed your way next.  Once I hit the gym and the grocery store I plan to spend the day baking and cooking as much I can to get ready for Thursday, so sloppy weather won't be a big issue for us.

We have been able to miss much of what little snow has happened, and its just now getting below 30 at night. We just lit the first fire last weekend. We had our Thanksgiving Sunday so DH and I will be staying home Thursday and I'm good with that. I plan to spend the day sewing!

Happy Thanksgiving Irene!

Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

Like you, I like winter. It is the time I get the most quilting and writing done. Summer is frantic with the garden and seemingly endless demands on my time.
