Headed south to Colorado
I'm headed south to Colorado for several days, no quilts or fabric involved. But, I will get to visit with an old college friend. She's a delight but there is one thing wrong with her--not a quilter. That's just so wrong. I keep trying to convert her. Never thought of myself as a missionary before. :)
Going to a mystery readers convention--must put on my polite, smiling face, and a patchwork vest.

Sounds like a fun trip, even if your friend isn't a quilter, I bet she appreciates what you do and create. Keep planting those threads ("seeds")... she may come around yet.

Have a great time! When you get back, you'll aprreciate your time spent quilting that much more. I really do get the missionary thing, I have a few friends and family members that I just haven't convinced yet. But, I do have one great friend that I have totally sold on quilting, and she is so glad I did :-D

Sometimes it's good to get away from the sewing machine for awhile. I'm sure you will have lots of fun in spite of your quilting withdrawal. And by all means wear your quilted vest. There might be another quilter there suffering with the same symptoms. lol
