Quilt With Us

I saw these hearts in a magazine and thought I'd like to try my hand at them.  I had a layer cake at home that I thought would be perfect but the directions were for regular yardage. So I mulled over how I could adapt the directions for the layer cake and if I would have enough fabric for each heart.  It was fun to figure it out..I can say that now ...now that its done. And with the leftover layer cake I pieced the backing.  I'm going to try and quilt it this weekend...we'll see.

That is darling, Roz! I have a pattern that might be the same one, it is just adorable, and I think i worked out wonderfully with your layer cake!

Very pretty.  I have used that heart pattern a lot of times for those times when I wanted to send a thinking of you or condolence quilt block.

Thanks for the nice comment on my Valentine tablerunner.  I really like your wallhanging.  I'm very fond of scrappy quilts and this looks so festive!  Congrats on figuring out how to do it with a layer cake.  Looks like it worked out perfectly!
