Quilt With Us

It's 33°F as of 2:30 pm. Took out snowshoes and went out in the backyard, following the railroad track with DH and puppy.  An hour later, one very tired puppy and one napping husband!  I'm sure I'd feel the effects this evening, my thighs and butt were burning from all that effort.

WOW! You went all out with your forage. I just take the puppy outside to walk around the house in my sneakers. lol. I need some snow trekking to lose weight. It has been being very cool here but nothing like what you Northerners have had. Thank the Good Lord!

Good workout, huh?  You know it's been a cold winter when 30 feels warm.  :)

Walking in the crisp air gives you a boost doesn't it?  It's sad when I say 33 isn't bad.  It was only 16 here today and supposed to get back down to negative the week ahead.  Blah!

Good for ya!  The best thing about snowshoeing is the righteous relaxation afterwards!  You feel so virtuous.  Glass of wine, chocolate --you deserve it all!
