Snow flurries here this morning.  Like we need to see that.  But the temps have been warm for the most part. It won't last, so not fretting about it.  Have had a few health problems the past two months. UTI followed by a massive hives breakout from the antibiotic I took for the UTI. The doctor is still trying to get my Cumidin level adjusted back to normal. So it's back and forth to the lab at the hospital trying to get it back to normal.  Bud is on Palliative Care now.  He hasn't been doing well for awhile and just keeps getting worse. I went to see him yesterday and I couldn't make out what he was trying to tell me. He is very weak as he won't eat much more then a quarter cup of food at a meal. He can't feed himself anymore.  I have been very busy in the sewing room with customer orders.  I try to find time to work on my own projects but only get to them once a month when I go to The Sewing Club.  I have a new customer coming in today to add to my work schedule. I'm glad I have this little home based job right now.  It keeps my mind busy.  I'm getting a kitten in a couple of weeks.  My Granddaughter's cat had four kittens and my neighbor had to have her cat put down so was looking for a new kitten.  I took her to look at the new litter and fell in love with the little black one.  I still miss my dog and think it will be good for me to have a pet.  I sent for a pet stroller to take it with me when I walk. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I was busy all day. Went to the Sunrise Service and breakfast, went back for the morning worship service and back to choir practice before the Cantata in the evening.  Busy but a joyous occasion.

It's nice to hear from all of you ladies.  I'm feeling much better and the new kitten came home Thurs. night.  Has me wrapped around his little paw already. He's bringing me much joy.

Irene, I am sorry to hear that you are having some health issues but hope you will be better soon.  I am also sorry to hear that your husband is not doing well.  You are lucky to have your sewing to keep you busy.  You are going to enjoy having a new kitten.  They are so comforting for you.

hi irene, just echoing the others' sentiments. hope you are feeling better.

i am not a cat person (allergic) but my furball pup keeps me sane--and drives me crazy!--they are such a good distraction.

i'm with janet--awaiting the hopefully soon spring breeze and open windows. have had a tease a few days but need sit-outside weather...

take care Irene....

A new kitty is going to brighten your home! You will be smiling all the time at it's antics, especially when it wants to help you sew! We will be in your neck of the woods next month. Have a conference in Halifax so we decided to drive the coast of Maine and go up into Prince Edward Island for a few days. Staying a couple days in Bar Harbor. Has been 43 years since we were there. Looking forward to the beautiful scenery!

I am happy to hear from you, even though all the news is not good. I hope your health problems are under control now. You are right that staying busy is the best thing. Well, maybe not as much fun you will have playing with your new kitten. I cannot imagine my life without a pet.

Good to hear from you, but sorry you are having some health problems and that Bud is not doing well. Sounds like you are keeping busy. I'm sure you're new little kitten will brighten your days. Take care......love you!

I'm sorry to hear you have been feeling poorly Irene.  Those UTIs are miserable to deal with!  Sad situation with Bud too, but to be expected.  We are finally having true spring type weather here in MId-Missouri.  Makes me feel more like sewing when I can open the door & get a nice breeze blowing in while I'm sewing.
