Quilt With Us

Hello! It has been almost 4 months since I have been here. It had to do with many factors. Yet I sure did miss everyone so much. I had the husband troubles with his prostrate. ( Which seems now to be under control) then my Mom, who broke her leg in three places... who now is just recently walking again...and doing great!
Then I got ill again, with my lungs. Had some disappointing news too over my lungs. A while back was told that I had only 40 precent left with the use of my lungs. Last year, same time it had been 60 percent.

Well, needless to say.... I had to change so many things, to make my life better. New way to eat foods. ( Not to difficult). Yet I never knew that when you have an chemical burn to your lungs, you also have asthma chemical lungs. I never knew this. Well I had to change everything that I use in the house. I have done this. I must say, it has made a huge difference for me too. No more candles... perfumes... and etc.

After I got all of that settled... I went through the computer game. It had crashed on me 5 times... and kept on... and I started to loose some important pictures and movies. Yet lots I had backed up and thank Goodness for this!!!!!!!!!! yet it was so upsetting.... and so much work to get it up again...to only crash a few days later.

Last week or maybe its the week before that.... I went and bought a new Apple computer. I am thrilled. I love it. Its a probookMac. I am using my old sony computer which was only two years old... for my EQ5, 6 and 7 programs. It may crash again though. We will see. I will not be using it for anything else. I know you can windows on a Mac.... I'd rather not. That is why I bought an Apple in the first place.

I am so happy to be back! With a whole new outlook on so many things in my life now!

PS. Jeff is doing just great!

That puppy we bought for my parents...... for Christmas is going to be 9 months old in a few days.

She is a wonderful dog. Yet she was not 8 pounds ...as I was told. She weighs 20 pounds now. I think she finally stopped growing!

Oh and here are a few blocks I did when I was ill! Have a great Day and evening everyone! So happy to be back!

Dining room that I am about to redo! Painting first of all. I do use a mask and special paint. Hugs Morgan

Hi Morgan Just looked at your page. You sound like things are getting better with you. I think I sent you a message some time ago. I too live in Florida. Been here 5 years and I love it. I also enjoy the different groups. I usually read the messages and look at all the nice pictures. My friend wants me to wait until Oct. to start SBS but I can't wait that long. I've been collecting civil war repro fabric.Take care Barbara Donaldson

Welcome back! Your posts are always so positive, despite your medical issues - you are such a "glass half full" kinda gal (maybe more than half full)!

Morgan--it made me so happy to see your post. You've been through a lot, but as usual, you just shine through. I miss seeing you on here, but think of you often. Took my DS about three months to get over his bronchitis/asthma flareup/sinus stuff--think he has turned the corner now. Good for you to be so proactive in making change. Praying for you and your family.

Morgan it is good to see your beautiful picture back on the blogs!! You have been missed. I understand taking a step back, we all have to do that from time to time. You are a testimony dear lady!! I am glad everyone seems to be on the mend, husband/mom/you. I pray that continues and no more health issues for a long, long time. Your blocks are beautiful!! Glad you didn't go all this time without sewing. I especially like the one with the cherries!!

Take care Morgan and good to see you back.

May God continue to keep all of you in the Shadow of His Wing, Hugs, Linda

Glad to hear you are ok and doing much better!! It is good to hear that Mom is walking again, at least starting to!!! Hope DH continues to do good with his issues!! Be careful with the painting I would hate to hear that it set you off again after just getting back to normal!!! Your blocks are great. Stay positive and healthy!!!
