Quilt With Us

Friends, I haven't forgotten to post a blog....I've just been to tired to think. Today is Saturday and my booth has been bombarded with quilters. Everyone has been so patient and friendly that we can't help but have a great time. I get some time off about 5:30 each day and sneak over to the quilt show and take a few photos. When we get packed up and head for home I'll get some of the photos uploaded and share them with you. They are amazing!!!!!!
I have had the great honor to meet several of our QWU friends and am excited to share that too. I see that Trevi has already posted photo. (that's only as far as I have scrolled in days)
I've developed a head cold, most likely from all the sneezing and coughing going on at market. Things are so loud that we have to get into each other faces to be heard.
OH, I wanted to tell you that if you've never been here you wouldn't believe that there were so many quilters in the entire world. I'll post a photo of the crowd outside, waiting to get in. 5 and 6 deep the line ran about 2 city blocks. I bet there were more in line in one day than the populations of my home town. I know the cops and officials here think we're nuts but----- OH WELL. ............. Until I have time again. I've got to shampoo, shower and shine for a busy day. Thanks for everything.....Have a GRAND WEEKEND.

It sound tiresome, but mostly exciting! You are a very special person to not only be part of this show, but keeping us posted on the happenings!!! I have never been to a quilt market/show. Now, you have me so excited that I am looking at attending at least one this winter while wintering in Florida. I have already got my friend commited to coming with me.. I call her my 'seeing eye dog' hehe.... They, (her and her husband) have been traveling with us for the last 3 years with their MH. She use to only sew clothes, but I got her hooked on quilting now...hehe...her stash is almost as large as mine...... are you going to be attending any in Florida this winter? I would love to attend the one that you will at..... have a great one Debbie..... and I tip my hat to your husband to be so supportive!!!!

Sound exciting - exhausting - and lots of fun. Like BJ. says you'll need to recoup when you get home. Still you have a few days travel so maybe that will be a good time to get rested. Have fun.

Oh Debbie, it is so exciting. Just reading your blog has goosebumps running down my arms. I sure wish I could be there with you and give you a little break so you could look after that cold. Hope it doesn't last. Continue to have a great weekend. Hugs to make you feel better.

I can't imagine doing that show with a cold...I've been fighting one for three days and slept most of the time. You're going to need a quiet trip home!!! I'm sure it has been worth it.

Sounds like a fun, tiring, exciting, wonderful, exhausting, terrific week for you. Hope you don't have anything on your schedule for a week after you get home so you can recover! Sorry you have a cold coming on.... no surprise with the pace you have been keeping and all the people around. Hang in there.

HiDebbie, You must be getting tired especially with a cold. I have enjoyed your notes and pictures over the last couple of week. I would love to be there and see the people as well as the quilts. I hope you have time to see some of the show and that your booth is booming in business. Take care of yourself.;

Dontcha just LOVE Festival?!!! I know it's exhausting, but to see so many quilters all at once is incredible! 2 summers ago, Judy and I went to the Long Beach premiere quilt festival....the convention center didn't believe the estimates they were given.....ran out of food and tp the very first day and couldn't recover!!!!
