The quilting bug has hit me again:
I just finished this quilt top which will be a topper for our little table in the living room. The quilt contains several fabrics I received for Christmas along with some I bought when I visited DS1 and DDIL1 in Kokomo last year.
The sewing "fit" followed a session during which I made curtains for the laundry room window, a skirt for the laundry sink, and curtains to cover the pipes and tubes behind the washer and dryer. I still need to paint the room and tidy up.
Too bad I don't have a wide-angle lens. The other side of the room doesn't show. But then, I would have had to tidy it up some.

Common Threads meets again next week. We're going to try to use each meeting to help each other with the Dogwood Blossoms sweaters.

Comment by Peggy Stuart on February 4, 2013 at 4:15pm Linda "Sue," I agree that poodles are amazing. I really think they know what I'm thinking. Lucky you to have not had any measurable snow. We've given up measuring ours!
Comment by Linda "Sue" Robertson, TN on February 4, 2013 at 1:39pm Hey Peggy, those quilts will make huge quilty hugs!!! What blessed recipients!!!!! Love your curtains in your laundry room and your hexagon quilt is gorgeous!!! Of course the most amazing picture on your blog is your precious puppies!!! You know me and my poodles, gotta love them, they are so amazing. We haven't had any measurable snow yet for me to see how Ginger and Skeeter will react in the snow. Don't know if we will have any since the groundhog said we will have an early spring. That is ok with me!!! smile...... Great blog!!

Comment by Carol Ann Hinton on February 4, 2013 at 10:12am Your quilting is like your knitting; complicated patterns and very beautiful! Love the snow photos with the dogs & DH. The snow at our mountain house is getting a little "old" looking - you know, icy on top and covered with twigs and pine needles. Treacherous to walk on. I'm looking forward to some fresh snow; possibly Thursday night according to the weather forecasts.
Comment by Mary, Tewksbury MA on February 4, 2013 at 9:59am Beautiful work by you and your friends, a very talented group. Love your table topper, wonderful pattern. Looks like it would be a good stash buster.
When you're as beautiful as Sunny it must be annoying to have the paparazzi following you for pictures at the time !! Winter scenery looks great. We're only had about 10 inches of snow all season and even less last year. I love the snow and I'm hoping we can get a few "good" storms before Spring arrives. In 1978 we had snow on May 10th (my Mom's birthday) so there's still hope.
Comment by Pam/NY on February 4, 2013 at 9:14am Always an interesting post...love the colors and pattern of your little quilt!
