DH and I returned home late yesterday afternoon from our visit to North Carolina and Virginia. The weather was beautiful, warm and sunny (except for one day and I was in a meeting so didn't care). My only complaint, other than the briefness of our visit, was the trees. I experienced this several years ago when I flew to Boston, rented a car and drove to Saratoga Springs, NY--frustration with trees. Driving along, we knew that on either side of the road were important sites and beautiful things but couldn't see anything but the trees on both sides of the road. Argh! We couldn't even see the gas station signs.
Okay I got my little rant out of the way now. Otherwise, it was beautiful.
