Hello everyone,
Finally home from vacation on Tuesday evening. It was good to get away but it is nice to be home in my own bed!!! Tired of living out of the suitcase. I have to say that the scorpions ran me out of the cabin and had to go get a condo!!! Yes live ones!!! They apparently didn't want any company!!! We had a good time in Pigeon Forge. Went to the Titanic musuem. It was great. You have to go if you get there. Really makes you appreciate what really happened to all those people. There is one in Branson Missouri too they say. Went to Dolly's quilt shop and bought a quilt for my bed and got to go to The Cherry pit quilt shop as well. I got several patterns there, although didn't buy fabric. I thought the prices were too high. Only found $9 a yard. But I hit the jackpot in their walmart ,they still have fabric and got it for $2.99 and $4.99 a yard. Loaded up with some. Also went to the Pattern Hutch by the old mill and got a snowman wall hanging and some applique patterns. I am thinking about doing the BOM at the Cherry pit of the winter wonderland quilt. So now I am set for the summer and the winter. Like I don't already have enough to do!!!lol We did the old west pictures at one store and my son little Danny really enjoyed getting his pics done. They did a good job getting them. That was the best part to us. The weather was nice as well. Had a great mother's day and Birthday while I was gone. I could have also done without the appointment at Children's at UAB though as well. We stayed right across the street from the main hospital. Have you ever thought about how many people are brought in by ambulance or helicopter in a day? Much less in an hour? That's a reality check too when you hear them all day and night coming and going. Thanks to all of you who sent me birthday wishes!!! I really appreciate it. Well I guess I better go so I can finish the last bit of laundry. Like all day yesterday of doing that and unpacking wasn't enough. That way tomorrow afternoon and Saturday I can get back to my sewing finally!!!! Dh and oldest son have a golf tournament Sat for our church. So little Danny and I can have a QUIET day or r&r. Hope all is well with everyone and Linda Sue I will call you hopefully by the weekend and BJ, OMG I just realized I didn't even eat any chocolate on my bday!!!lol Chat with you all later!!! Be blessed!!!
