Quilt With Us

Good evening everyone.. just sitting here with my leg propped up on some pillows and decided to get online for a change.. been laying in the bed too much.. so my hubby rearranged the living room so i could get up and get online.. havent attempted to do any  quilting or sewing yet... i have be reading some new quilting magazines and reread some old ones.. LOL found so quilt blocks i want to add to my son's wedding quilt.. his fiancee got to llooking at some of my magazines and changed her mind so much on which blocks she wanted.. i have about given up and i am just going to make whatever i choose.. i know she will like whatever i pick but i cant keep up with her ideas..   i gotta get going though on making some more blocks for her wedding quilt.. i am making blocks that have a nice center block that she can have people sign the block then i will sew it all together after her wedding.... i decided not to do the double wedding ring quilt.. she liked the signature quilt better... so hope to get to quilting soon

the knee is doing better i got the staples out of the knee this past week.. yes staples instead of stitches..but it still hurts. my doc had me go in to do a venous doppler ultasound on my leg i have two clots they are watching so they dont get worse.. cant take aspirin so dont know what they will do if it does get worse.. al they told me to do was keep it propped up and use a heating pad on it.. wow i use ice on this one spot to keep it from swelling and a heating pad on the area where the clots are LOL. but well at least i am feeling better .. still cant get around much but at least better than i was..

keep cool everyone and enjoy this beautiful summer weather.. i wish it would rain one of these days.. the grass and the farmers sure need the rain too.... plus i need a break from the heat...

hugs to all

Good to hear you have something different to look at now. Hey, reading quilt magazines is a wonderful way to pass time with your leg propped up. Do you have any handwork ready to go? Take care!

Glad you could escape from the bed to the livingroom. Always nice to get a change of scenery. Hopefully those clots will go away soon so you don't have that worry to deal with.  Soon you will be up and about and feeling lots better!
