Quilt With Us

Well, we just got back from our vacation in sunny California (however it remained pretty cool along the coast). I managed to make it to 6 different quilt shops in four different cities in two days. I must say - my husband was a trooper. He went in to every shop with me and didn't complain much at all. He didn't even bark about how much money I spent - I love that man!! We went to Wine Country quilt shop in Paso Robles; The Quiltery in Paso Robles; Sew Fun in Atascadero; Quilters Cupboard in Atascadero; Old Town Quilt Shop in Orcutt; and Betty's Fabrics in Santa Maria. We also visited Rassmussens in Solvang - they have a little fabric area upstairs from the main store. Just wanted to share with everyone!! Janice

Oh wow you visited a lot of great shops. There are quite a few ladies from here that go over to the coast just to go to Betty's.... Didn't you just love Solvang? It's one of my favorite towns over that way. Thanks for stopping by my page and the comment.

Those names bring back memories! I grew up in Atascadero, but there were no quilt shops back then! We didn't even have a McDonalds! I made 1 trip back over 20 years ago and it had really changed then - I can't even imagine how much different it is now. Sounds like you had fun.
