I couldn't take the withdrawals symptoms any more

As some of you may have read. My dearly beloved yorkie baby puppy chewed up my foot pedal cord to my Pfaff sewing machine and to replace said cord was going to be expensive, to me anyway, sence I'd spent my paycheck buying material. Day three with no useable sewing machine and honey gave in and said to buy a new one. Don't go getting excited here. I bought a Singer machine, just a base model. I have the "it cost and arm and leg embroidery machine" which I could use if I could find the other half that one uses when your not doing the embroidery but I've been moved so many times, I can't find it. I was standing there and looking over the machines and talking with the sales lady who really did her best to try and get me into a mid-range priced machine but when it came down to it, all I do is straight stitches and zigzag stitching on the "expensive now I can't use it Pfaff machine".

So I get home and get the machine set up and so on and so forth and straight stitching, does great, had to work on figuring out the zigzag and the machine for whatever reason, does the zigzag but it doesn't pull the material through. I had to pull to get the material through. Called up the store and spoke to the sales lady and she said to bring machine back. Ok first thing after I get off work tomorrow. Day three ends with nothing accomplished on the sewing. I think I will spend the additional money and buy the new foot pedal anyway. At least I know my machine works.

Any body want a yorkie puppy or two or three???? I am putting them on clearence price plus shipping.

LOL Judy/Wa the idea was to get rid of the little devils. I haven't had too many calls on the brats. Don't get me wrong I love them but they have got to go, period. I'm thinking an auction house is coming next for these guys.

Buy the new pedal, it'll be worth it. And keep those pups away from it!

Hope your pedal search is successful. It's hard to be without an old friend. We get so used to our machines.

One thing about it, you week has not been boring. I'll be glad when you can look back at it and laugh. It will get better, I just know it!

Wow. Look at all the offers for help. What a great community of quilters. Hope you find a replacement pedal without having to cut off an arm or a leg.

Kathy did you check eBay for a foot pedal?

How frustrating for you. I'm sure the puppy is very sorry. Maybe you should sell them for more instead of clearance so you can buy your pedal!

Kathy, send me all three. In fact, why don't you bring them. It would be wonderful excuse for a visit, eh?

Let me know what your Pfaff machine is. There is the Sewing Machine Warehouse here that I can call to see if they have a pedal laying around.
