That would be lying. It has snowed in the northwest. Yes I know, those of you who live here have noticed that. Our snow once every 20 years came a couple of years late, but it came none the less. I hate the snow and blame my daughter for all this snow. She loves it and went snowboarding last week. With the snow came the ice rain which now that it is melting is causing havoc with the power lines and bringing down trees that can't hold the weight of the ice and snow, hence the no sewing, no quilting. I haven't even attempted any sewing with my nerves being frazzled. On the way to work this morning another car, said driver only cleaning a 12 X 12 window to look out the windshield nearly ran me off the road this am. My other half having returned from Kentucky instantly became my designated driver to get me to work in once piece had several non-repeatable words for said driver. Yes I know, we all have those kinds of people in our cities. Most of our roads are clear and at the moment wet so I will attempt to drive myself to work tomorrow morning. So any one living in Tacoma, Please stay off the roads between the hours of 4am and 5am. I will be at work by then and you can resume traveling to your destinations.
On a lighter note I have almost finished my mariner compass and will hopefully get it done by the time my weekend rolls around on tuesday and wednesday.
I have a new pattern that I've posted on my page. I haven't named this one yet but I did get my material for it and can't wait to get started.
