Quilt With Us

So when making Mariners Compass, one closes their eyes and hopes for the best!  Ok I didn't have my eyes closed or I would have sewn my fingers into the block (we really don't want to do that again).  JK!  Making these blocks was a whole lot easier than I thought they would be.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year!

Beautiful!!!!!!  I love those colors and I love the pattern(even tho I have never made one). Is there one of those patterns that is easier than another?

Challenge blocks are so rewarding when done right. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!

Very pretty Kathy.  I love making Mariner's Compass stars.

wow...that's one beautiful block.  And, to think that you did that with your eyes closed.  Imagine what eyes open would do.    You are amazing.

Kathy,,, nice job,,, great color contrast.  Even the ones with the tiny points aren't hard to make,, check out my latest one on my page, with applique around it.
