Quilt With Us

My computer got a virus before Christmas and I was too busy to bother getting it fixed.  When the computer is here I get less done. lol

Bud had two strokes a couple of weeks ago and was in our local hospital until this past Friday when he went  to  a Bangor hospital for rehab.  He's not a happy camper so isn't happy where he is.  We have been getting one snow storm after another so I haven't been able to make the two hour trip to see him.  Hope I get a day this week that I can go up.

I'm doing well and keeping busy.  I have been removing pictures and wall decor off the walls and giving them a good cleaning.  I'm ashamed to say that by the looks of some of them I have neglected them for awhile.  i can't say "they are out of site, so out of mind" like I say about draws and closets. lol  I have to get my Spring cleaning done so I will have time to mow lawns.  I doubt Bud will be able to do it this Summer.  I find mowing is good exercise and I really like being out doors doing it.

I hope your all fine and productive in your sewing rooms.  By the looks of the beautiful items you have posted, you have been very busy. I'm glad to be back among you ~ Irene

Irene so glad you are back but so sorry on all the health issues surrounding you. You sound like a very strong person and very resonable on what your future holds. Thanks so much for your wonderful comments, and taking time out of your busy day.

I hope things do get better for you and that you are able to enjoy some quilting time.

Hi lady-

You've been missed.  Sorry to hear about Bud...it takes time to get some of those  movement s back. Hope for a speedy recovery. You have been hit with major snow. Don't be taking chances driving to see him.. he's flirting with those nurses anyways. We arrived in Florida a couple days ago. It feels so good to be able to be outside. Will be here until April. Have a couple of quilt shops to visit but no sewing for awhile. Glad to have you back ...take care.

Oh I am so happy your computer is back on! We sure missed you! I'm glad to hear Bud is out of the hospital, though I am sure he is not a happy camper in the rehab facility. You are such a strong lady, and so blessed to be able to face situations and make good decisions as they present themselves! Love ya! xoxox

Thank you ladies for the prayers and good thoughts.  I appreciate all the prayers we can get.  I'm glad I'm not the only one with a blind eye to dust build-up.  I like your take, on it Terry.  I got a chuckle on your P. S. It's so good being back on here and keeping in touch with everyone. How did we ever live without a computer. lol

Glad you are back Irene!  So sorry for Bud's health problems and all the snow you have had out your way. We could really use some out here, we're only at 40% of snow pack that we should have in the mountains.

I hope all those dust bunnies don't find their way to my place, I have enough as it is. LOL

Good to see you back here, Irene. So sorry to hear about Bud. I hope he rehabs quickly. Your part of the country has certainly had more than enough winter this year. Take care out there on those snowy roads.

I'm the mower around here. Actually, I enjoy it. And I don't want to even consider how much dust is on our pictures. Ick.

Stay in touch!

Hope things return to a better spot soon for both you, and Bud.  Two hours would feel like so much more, in the winter, especially.  Prayers headed your way.
