Quilt With Us

I'm not sure what setting I had my camera on, sorry for the graininess, but as you can see the dress FITS and our Miss Bailey looks so cute in it!  Don't you love her glasses too?  After the day at the beach she came home (to our 2 sons house) and stayed overnight with us. That was amazing as she is just 4 1/2 and only sees us once or twice a year.  There was a little time of uncertainty, then she settled down and we had a great night (and a great night off for her folks). We had a wonderful week seeing all of our 4 adult kids.  We even got to go to the beach for a day and I got to see a couple of my girlfriends. Doesn't get much better than that!

These are Miss Bailey's dad (our son) and mom.

OHHHH..... on our way to family we stopped in Hood River, OR at the ETC Quilt Shop where QWU friend Jody Davis-Wood was working that day.  I handed off my Robin's Hope quilt top and she gave me two more to take (I volunteered) to make for the project. She is such a delightful person. It is always such a treat to get to meet our QWU friends in person!

On our way home yesterday we stopped at Fabric Depot and I got some fabrics for a baby quilt for a great nephew, due to say hello to the world in September.  Everything was 20% off, so that made the stop even better!

I'll leave you with a couple of scenic pics of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams (we also saw Rainier, St. Helen's and Jefferson on our drive down).

Hmmm.... now for some reason I can't get the picture mode to work right to add a pic of Mt. Adams so you'll just have to imagine another gorgeous snowcapped mountain.

Bailey is so special, she looks so cute in the sundress with her matching purse! And who wouldn't want to spend some one on one time with a grandma like you. Bailey is blessed to have you and I know you're just a little crazy about her!

Precious memories to store for a rainy day. Miss Bailey is sure a pretty little girl and looks delightful in her new dress with a matching bag. I love the mountain pictures and get to see them when we go to AZ. They never look the same. Gorgeous!!!! Glad that you had a such a good trip and got to spend time with Miss Bailey on a one on one.

Omg she's only 4 1/2.  She sure looks older, don't tell mom and dad I said that.  She is a cutie.  I'm glad you had a good time with the family.  Mt. Hood looks like it's blowing off a bit of steam. Mt Rainier always looks like it's wearing a cap.

Love the pictures as always.

She is becoming quite the little lady.  I still want to think of her as a baby, but time goes.   I'm so glad she was comfortable enough to spend time with you.  Isn't that such a blessing?  Those memory making times are just precious.
