I'm not sure what setting I had my camera on, sorry for the graininess, but as you can see the dress FITS and our Miss Bailey looks so cute in it! Don't you love her glasses too? After the day at the beach she came home (to our 2 sons house) and stayed overnight with us. That was amazing as she is just 4 1/2 and only sees us once or twice a year. There was a little time of uncertainty, then she settled down and we had a great night (and a great night off for her folks). We had a wonderful week seeing all of our 4 adult kids. We even got to go to the beach for a day and I got to see a couple of my girlfriends. Doesn't get much better than that!
OHHHH..... on our way to family we stopped in Hood River, OR at the ETC Quilt Shop where QWU friend Jody Davis-Wood was working that day. I handed off my Robin's Hope quilt top and she gave me two more to take (I volunteered) to make for the project. She is such a delightful person. It is always such a treat to get to meet our QWU friends in person!
On our way home yesterday we stopped at Fabric Depot and I got some fabrics for a baby quilt for a great nephew, due to say hello to the world in September. Everything was 20% off, so that made the stop even better!
I'll leave you with a couple of scenic pics of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams (we also saw Rainier, St. Helen's and Jefferson on our drive down).
Hmmm.... now for some reason I can't get the picture mode to work right to add a pic of Mt. Adams so you'll just have to imagine another gorgeous snowcapped mountain.
