Quilt With Us

Happy New Year from the Pacific Northwest.  If you follow the river a bit more to the lower left you will be where I live. I'll put the teapot on and we'll have a party!  I took this when we were flying home from our trip to see Miss Bailey earlier this month.  Speaking of which.... here she is opening her gift from Nana and Papa, a new baby doll (yes, there will be some doll clothes being made now too).

Yes, she is getting BIG.  She will be 4 soon. She's very tall for her age ... wearing size 6 now. She's come a long way!

I can't show you the project I'm finishing as it is for a swap, but I can leave you with a teaser of it.  The theme for the swap is Reflections (a good theme to end one year and start another, don't you think?)

Mt Rainier is so beautiful and we can see it from Redmond most of the time. Miss Bailey looks like she is so enthralled opening her gift, wondering just what Nana and Papa got her.  Wishing you and DH a Happy New Year filled with Love, Peace, Joy and all the quilting you can do in 2014.

BJ, here is wishing you & your husband a very happy & prosperous new year.  I love the pic of Mt. Ranier.  It reminds me of the time I flew over it on my way to Seattle several yrs ago.

Wish we had a view from our house. We saw it from our back yard many years ago when we lived on the west side of the mountain. Now we have to drive up 410 a ways, or go over on 12, but we're close!

Rainier is always beautiful.  Miss seeing it over here though.  If you stand on my roof, on one foot, tilt your head right and sneeze, you can see the very tip top of Rainier, on a really clear day. ha ha            Oh, maybe I can say I have a view home?  Happy New year to you too, dear friend.  Stay warm.

Hi Bj. That's not fair that your side of the mountain has more snow on it than mine does.  LOL  you can keep it though.  I just like the pictures of the mountain.  As for Miss Bailey, she sure looks bigger and older than just 3 almost 4.  I'm looking forward to seeing the doll clothes that match Baileys outfits!

Happy New Year to you and yours too BJ!  I was just thinking how big Miss Bailey got when you commented on how tall she is and what size she's wearing!  A few of my grandsons are a year or two older than her and the same size!

Gorgeous view by the way!!
