I'm Still Not Sure . . .
Hi ladies, this is my first time joining any kind of on-line group, so I'm still trying to navigate my way around. I'm going to try and post the picture of my fabrics with this post, so wish me luck. I picked my fabrics the other night, and am still contemplating using more. I'm not one to stick too close to a pattern and I really love scrappy quilts, so I may end up using many blues instead of just this one. I've done mystery quilts before, and am surprised that this one does not give you the first set of cutting instructions with the yardage requirements . . . oh well, just means I have to be a little more patient than usual :)

Hi Sherrill, I am new also, trying to find my way around here. I'm stopping by to visit many :) looking forward to doing the mystery quilt along, now I just need to make sure I'm in the right room for it!! Lol

I do love mine it was real special for me..I did one and it was around the time when I meet my brother, for the very first time and I was 50 yrs old,,,I love Mystery quilts..and then I gave it away It was black and white with grey borders,,,to the Sago miner in West virgina,,so "life is not always black and white but grey like the borders of my life" By Joann Liguz -Enjoy it..

Welcome Sherrill- I'm doing the Mystery Quilt too, 1st for me. Guess we'll get cutting instructions on day 1 but I agree I'd like to be all cut and ready to go on the start date. I have to be "in the mood" to cut and usually take a couple of days to cut all my fabric. So, we'll see what happens. Like Linda states their group site may have updated info, I'm heading there soon.

Check out the group site their is pdf with the fabric amount. I too would like the cutting for the blocks, but March 5th is the starting date, I think.

Welcome Sherrill. Be sure to ck out the individual groups as well the this main forum. Some of the groups have died out and probably should be deleted, but there are still plenty of active ones to choose from.
