Quilt With Us

Well, Ladies & Gents..........

I have been so in the mood to really do another class and the time has arrived..... I have enrolled in four different classes in four different places, no less.... The first one is are our church quilt show this coming Sat. Then I have two in Oct and another in Nov. They are each all day ones and I am very excited. The first one coming up is a mystery quilt.... with the jelly roll & one extra yd of "blending" material. Next is called December Diamonds (a tree wall hanging), after that I am taking a class on French Braid Tree skirt (I have wanted a new tree skirt forever) and the last is called square in a square, (it's also a Christmas tree in bigger form). Three of the four need special rulers and one needed a book also...... That will have to be my limit for awhile I guess. I have the fabric choosen for three of the four. The easiest one will be the diamond, as it only takes fat quarters..........

Wish me luck, if they turn out half way decent I will post them in a few months.............. LOL

Have a wonderful day!!

My first class is done already. I came home with a new "almost finished" table topper...... It's so pretty and one of the gals used Christmas fabrics, that was so beautiful! The thing is everyone used such different fabrics and they all turn out so great!! Great fun!! The two ladies that taught the class are awesome. I took a class from them last year and so enjoyed it also!! That is the part that is so great, besides coming home with something that I made~!!

I will get some photos added soon, promise!

Have a great day ladies!

Whoa!  All of those classes sound so much fun!  If I had to pick just one, I don't think I could do it.  My brain would go into overload!  Let us know how they go, please!

Sounds like you are all geared up to have lots of fun. I love taking classes like that.  The thing I admire the most in a class is how everyone is doing the same pattern but different colors and each quilt is so unique in itself.

Good luck Carol and I know you will have fun. I do sew enjoy my class days if for no other reason than the friendship with the others in the class. If I can bring home a new project, good and if that project is finished it is wonderful. It doesn't have to be perfect, you are only learning or practicing on that one. The next one is the one that is the best.
