Quilt With Us

As some of you know I've been moved to the garage. I've been organizing my things and decided to spend a little time with my longarm machine. I have had this love -hate relationship with this machine. I love what it can do, but I hate that it hadn't been doing what it was suppose to. A few weeks ago I called the store and they arranged to have the techs come to the house instead of me once again bringing the machine to them. The guys showed up and I showed them how bad this machine was working. I had an idea what was wrong with it and told them. They checked the machine and bingo it was the sensor that tells the machine its moving and to make stitches. They installed a new sensor under warranty and tested the machine. All was well but I didn't have time to play with the machine until now. I am indeed a happy camper now. :)

Good for you. With an investment that big, you want it to do it's job. So glad you got to the root of the problem. Happy quilting!

I understand your relationship with that machine! I have the same feelings toward my serger. It doesn't thread itself so over time I've learned how to thread it. But before I use it, I must "possess my soul with patience" because it takes adjusting to get it working the way I want it to. However, I love it when I can sew the rolled hem finish on table cloths and stitch up pajama bottoms for my grandkids. Good sewin!
