Quilt With Us

Our bazaar was big and well attended! I've added a photo of Wendy and I there at the bazaar. I'm thankful its's over.
My grandkids Nanny from California come up to keep them for the last week before their parents arrive. So I
have had a little quiet time.
Wendy came over Monday evening and we painted my livingroom! What a wonderful change! Went from white
to light warm brown. I also tea dyed my lace curtains and they are wonderful!!! Never dreamed of tea dying until my Son in law's Mom, Nanny, told me she had done it years ago and still has her curtains up, she loves
them so much!
After getting the monthly statements out for my boss I am home feeling like I deserve to craft!! Last night I
worked on my blue and white quilt that I am creating.
Today I am working on my cookbooks that I make up to give to my Bed and Breakfast guests that catch lots
of Salmon or Halibut.
Rainy, had some snow but there is little left!
My husband and kids should be on their way back to Seattle from London and home on Friday!!! They have
been gone for close to a month. I am soooo ready to have my sweethear home!!!
Hope all is well with you all and I hope you have time to create things you love and bring you and others joy!

Please come visit! What fun! It has warmed up here today is rain, not freezing! Am excited to get
our Christmas tree, when my hubby gets home! Until then I am making progress on my blue and white
quilt which actually is pinwheel/star! Have a great evening!

I'm glad the bazaar was good. That's a huge job to do, but can be very rewarding. Okay, I just checked out your B&B and where you live.... I'm in love! What gorgeous views you have, and a wonderful B&B. May have to save up our pennies and come up that way for a vacation some time.... I'll put it on my dream list.

Hope they have a safe journey. I'd be missing my family, too! The weather has turned colder here (below freezing), which is probably shirtsleeve weather for you, but winter coat weather for me. :0) Happy recipe-book-making and happy quilting!
