So... I got my big Yellow Brick Road back from long arm quilting... she did a wonderful job and now I'm just finishing off the hand hemming of the binding... can only do that for so long... hard on my arthritic hands... arrgh... but I've started a new Yellow Brick Road for a baby blanket and that's been fun... making all the pieces smaller but it's starting to look pretty good... I'm using up fabric that I've had for years... fun part is that I made a baby quilt for the lady that is now the Mother to be for this baby... guess I've gone full circle.

well... I sent my yellow brick road to the lady with the Long Arm... she was going to get it quilted this weekend... haven't heard so I'm assuming it will be done soon... whoo hoo... starting to feel better about the quilt.

I did the same thing making that pattern.  I just sewed it together anyway and call it "The Other Yellow Brick Road".  No one knows there's a mistake and I can't even remember what it was.

Yellow Brick Road is a super pattern to do.  Show us some pics along the way so we can see your progress!

I made one yrs ago.  My only objection is that her directions figure the fabric right down to the smidgen, but otherwise it is a fun pattern to do.  I made mine out of pre-washed flannel so had to go back to the store to buy add'l since my fat quarters were no longer the original size.
