Wahoo! It is finally snowy and icy enough that I am stuck in the house. I decided to quilt my
Accidental Landscape wall hanging. I love the book so much I did an audio review on it. I took a class from Karen Eckmeier when I was at the Long Beach Quilt Festival in July. They are really quick and easy to make. I should have been finished the afternoon I took the class but I have an intense fear of the quilting part of a project. I have only quilted a few things that are small and only if the quilting involves straight lines. So I said I would quilt it when I got home and then put it in the back of a closet. (I thought forever.) I finally took it out of the closet, paced around it, chose thread, cleaned my entire sewing room and worked on other projects, paced more, wiped off my sweaty hands and quilted it. I am really happy with how it turned out. Now I am looking at an unfinished table runner. Who knows, I might quilt it next! Hurray for the snow, it forced me to take the time to be brave and quilt it!
