Quilt With Us

My three girlfriends and I have booked a guided tour of Ireland which includes three days at the International Quilt Festival 2013 in Ireland.  We are all so excited and I can hardly wait for June.  I have never been in Europe and one friend and I are looking into staying a few extra days in London.  She has been there a few times and thinks I would love seeing the city.  My relatives on my mom's side came to Canada in 1850; her maiden name was Kirkpatrick so I can officially wear the button that says 'Kiss me I'm Irish'!  I'm wondering if any of you are going to this festival?

I am not going to Ireland, but I am going on the Alaskan Cruise with Bonnie Hunter in August.  You are sure to have a blast!

Thanks ladies.  The four of us went on a quilting cruise to Alaska in 2010 so I know we all travel well together.  I keep waking up and thinking about the trip.  It is fun to plan and the lady who is arranging things for the gals in B.C. constantly posts pictures of the places we will see.  If anyone is interested, go to www.iqfoi.com

I've never been to anything that big, or that far away, so I am really excited for you.  The four of you will have a blast, no doubt.

I am also part Irish so I sure wish it was in the budget to go to this festival. My nephew and a friend of his went to Ireland a few yrs ago and enjoyed every minute of it. They did not go on a tour; they just got a map and drove around by themselves.
