I found that i needed a tiny iron to take to some quilting retreats...and you how you are sewing till the last minute and leave packing up to leave the very last thing to do?  Where does the hot iron go?

Here is a tutorial for a little iron case for a mini iron.  You will use up 2 of your UFO Quilt Blocks!
