Quilt With Us

It's my weekend and hoping to get some sewing done.

Life in an RV is a little to cramped for me.  I have been working on a few things.  Besides buying a sitdown quilting machine, I also bought a new embroidery machine.  I've been working on some designs that I hope to get embroidered soon.  It's the quilt I've been planning for Aiden for the last couple years.  I've got the designs ready and hoping the in-laws will let me use their dinning table to work on.  If that works out I just might get the quilt finished in time for Christmas.  My other grandson Lucas, loves to watch the garbage trucks every week.  I figured that I can't make just one quilt for 1 grandson and not have something for the other. So I came up with the idea of making a quilt with roads and houses and of course trash cans and a garbage truck.  I know whats coming next, DD will want her own designer quilt.  I've got some ideas for that one but it's top secret until it's finished.

Now that I actually have a little bit of cash left over from last month, I'm going shopping for fabric.  I know how bad of me when I have bags and bags full of fabric.  They are sealed and locked in storage until we get a more permanent address.

Sounds like a lot of future projects. The grandsons will love their quilts!

Hang in there, Kathy, with the cramped quarters.  Hoping you find something more suitable soon.  In the meantime, it sounds like you still have your quilting mojo.
