It was a Lovely Evening
I had a lovely dinner and visit with Pat from the UK and her husband. We were not able to figure out the connection based on the limited information I have, but we think it goes back to my great-great grandfather. Further research is required. I gave them some copies of old family photos and I think I saw a *very* slight resemblance between Pat's husband and my grandfather ... !
They are on their way to Alaska tomorrow and I understand they are meeting another QWU member in Juneau. I am quite sure the Juneau member will enjoy meeting Pat and her husband too!

When I work out at the tourist information booth, I always hope someone from QWU would come in and I would get to meet someone face to face. Oh well, tomorrow is my last day for this year so guess it won't happen. Have a great weekend!
