Quilt With Us

Today I spent the entire day, along with my DH, unpacking the last of the 5-gallon tubs from the attic loft. My DH is such a wonderful person in that he toted all the tubs from the loft to the studio (guess the total number of tubs and win a prize) in 90 degree heat! Bless his heart and then he took me shopping for an adjustable sewing stool as he felt my chair just wasn't high enough AND we purchased another 4-drawer filing cabinet for the studio! Thank should take care of all that's needed there.

Everything is going to stay where it's been placed, for the time being, until I have more time to organized it like I want it to be. Right now I was more interested in getting it put away rather than organized by color or kit or books by arthor or technique. Now to see how many people read these blogs - the Grand Opening of the Drake's Nest Studios is September 18, 2010. Be the first to post a comment to my website http://www.drakesneststudios.com or to my blog http://www.drakesneststudios.wordpress.com and you will win a very nice prize. Be sure to leave me your email address so that I can contact you to get your snail mail addy. Be sure to put in your comment "I saw the Grand Opening date" so I'll be able to see who read the glob posts.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

The winners of the drawings are B.J. Elder for 47 (the correct number was 48); Gayle/LA for guessing 88 tubs. I just HAD to give her something for the highest. My DH swears it FELT like 88 tubs . I have to go back through my messages to see who won for mentioning the date of Sept 18th first!
If the winners will send me their snail mail addys to terrinv@yahoo.com, I'll get their prizes out in the mail.

Hi Diane, I'm afraid that 38 is too low. Sorry

Sorry Cindy, wasn't 50, but you were close. So far BJ is the closest. I'll take a few more guesses and then will close the tub guessing.

I'm guessing 50, since you are opening a new place. You need lots of stuff.

Sorry Gayle/LA I had no where near 88 tubs , I think I should send you a prize for having the MOST tubs. My DH can attest that they were all 5-gallon tubs as he was there when we purchased them a few at a time. Congratulations BJ on being the closest to the actual tub count. If no one else gets it right on the money, you'll have a nice prize coming your way. Please send me your snail mail addy and full name to terrinv@yahoo.com so that I can get the prize out to you should no one else guess correctly. I'll reveal the actual tub count tomorrow.
Have a great day everyone. I'm off to church!

Terri, if your 5 gallon tubs are like the ones I use, you probably had at least 88 of them stored in you attic loft. I have about 35 in my little area. But I bet you hd some that held more than 5 gallon.
