Jelly roll progress
October last year I asked for suggestions for patterns for a jelly roll quilt. I bought a jelly roll and wanted to make a lapsize quilt for my MIL. Gayle suggested I buy the book Jelly Roll Quilts from Pam & Nicky Lintott. I did exactly that (thanks a lot Gayle!!) and this is my progress...
I love the colours of the fabric. The quilt will be 16 blocks finished. It is a Log Cabin with the stars twist. Trouble is now... I am getting so fond of this quilt, I don't know if it will be possible for me to give it away! Have this ever happened to you?!

Hi Gayle! Thanks again for your suggestion! I am making the quilt for my MIL. It's colours I love. The jelly roll is from Moda fabrics, but I'm not sure what the range is called.

I love this! What was the name of the Jelly Roll book? I love jelly rolls but so far they are just being used as decorations and not much more. I should tell you that I just love your country, but sad that I've been there two times and still not been able to get out to Robbin Island. This last time we did get to the top of Table Mountain and that is an amazing sight!
