I have been quilting on and off since I was 4. Learned from my paternal grandmother, who also taught me to crochet. It took meeting a wonderful lady, who became my best friend and sister who rekindled my interest and love and quilting. For that dear Squirrel, thank you. However, I think you created a monster . Where she has the fabric, I have the patterns and books. Could probably open my own quilting library. My DH, of just over a year and a half, is converting a huge one car garage into a fiber arts/craft studio for me. We have stripped the walls of all paneling and the celing of its tiles. I will start taking some before, during and after picures of its construction and see about posting them. For right now, however, I have to wait until the spring. More specifically, I have to wait until after my graduation from college in May to give my full attention to it.
In addition to quilting, I'm an avid photographer and artist and writer. Haven't published anything, to which my DH tells me to hurry and get famous so that he can retire .
More later. Need to get some sleep. - Namaste - Peace!
