Welcome to another Spirit Led week. I hope this past one was great for you.
As stated in the title, it was a downtime week. This does not mean that nothing was done. I did do some weaving. But I have been planning and designing in my head more projects. I will be doing some bibs for Daniel for his birthday. I am going to quilt a wall hanging or table runner so I can break out my Christmas present and actually 'practice' on it. I received a Quilting Frame. It is not a long or mid range quilting machine (a dream of course), but something that works somewhat like it. If it works out, I may just break out one sewing machine to dedicate it to top stitching.
Our oldest his selling his house and now has accepted a bid. Now for the red tape to jump through, inspections, etc. On Friday, his son (oldest grandson) was in what they called a 'Midnight Madness Tennis Tournament'. The last day of school was May 19th. So very little 'team' practice going on. He did well in the tourney, winning 3 and tying 2 sets. Then the games were called off. We had some really heavy thunderstorms come through.
We have not done much yard/gardening this past week. Heavy rain every day. I think the cumulative rainfall here at the house was 4 to 6 inches in a week. There is more rain expected today. Hopefully this will be it for a week or so. The ground is so wet, we are afraid of high winds blowing down our large trees. But everything is so nice and green and flowers are busting out everywhere.
I will leave you with this verse: Psalms 29:11
May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!
I feel this verse strongly at this time in our world. May our friends 'across the pond' gain strength and peace in the above verse. Know that the LORD is with you.
Until next week, may you have a Spirit Led week.
